The Film Production Technology degree at Valencia College is a comprehensive education in the film process. Graduates will receive technical training  in pre-production areas of film grip and lighting , camera, production management, editing, sound and set construction . In addition, students learn how to design and supervise the construction and installation of theatrical scenery to the specification required for a film or video production. Student participate in various professional short film projects, pilots and/or feature films throughout their tenure in the program. This also serves as great networking for the students who get to work alongside professional filmmakers and actors/actresses.

 
 

 
 
 

*Students are also required to pay a $532 lab fee for each of the three semesters for the program’s advanced courses*
