The 27th VFC Experience

On March 4th, 2022, we celebrated the 27th annual Valencia Film Celebration. This extravagant night showcased the world premiere of 5 short films from the 2021 Valencia Film Program class, as well as public screenings of 11 “emotion” short films from the current 2022 class. This allowed for the reunion of many Valencia alumni and a proper introduction of the current class. 

Aside from these impressive films, 5 lively sets were built outside of the PAC so guests were able to walk on and experience multiple genres of film. Right next to these sets were “On Site Filmmaking Workshops”, which taught volunteers how to slate, pull focus and boom op. These activities accompanied by the costumed hosts allowed for an immersive and wonderful experience.
